Clarke Analytics is a wholly owned Irish consulting company specializing in the area of data analytics and data science consulting and training. The company was set up in October 2016 by Dave and Helen Clarke.
Dave has worked in the IT industry for 25 years in software consulting, management consulting, project, program, and engineering team management, solutions architecture, technology evangelist and data science roles.
After many years bringing up their two children, Helen joined the company as company secretary and channel manager. She is enjoying powering the company back-office and partner relationships.
The Clarke Analytics approach to data analytics solution development is routed in many years of experience in bringing technology projects to successful completion.
At Clarke Analytics, we understand that the first challenge that customers have in embarking on an analytics initiative is to develop a business case for investment by the business. With this in mind, we have designed our services to aid customers in this process.
Our services are specifically designed for those difficult early phases of analytic solution development and our methodology takes account of some specific attributes of data analytics projects.
Data Analytics projects require a much greater collaborative teaming approach than most technology delivery projects. This needs to be built into every project in this space. After assessing the analytics maturity level of customers across their business areas, we can propose initial collaborations to help find the business value to create the business case for future investment.
Data Analytics projects are highly investigative in nature, especially in their initial stages and so require the use of iterative data analysis and testing approaches. The CRISP-DM methodology for data mining has been well tested and used in the market for years. Critical to this is the need to start with an understanding of the business context in which the analytic solution is sought.
